OUR HISTORY

Bradley's Practice is proud to continue the legacy of its founder, Dr. Bradley, who qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1955 and began practising in Buckley in 1959.

Starting with just 200 patients, Dr. Bradley quickly earned the trust of the local community, with the practice growing to over 3,500 patients within three months. His dedication to compassionate, family-centred care established the values that continue to guide the practice today.

Alongside his work as a GP, Dr. Bradley was a longstanding member of St John Ambulance, rising to the position of Assistant Chief Commissioner for Wales. In recognition of his outstanding service, he was appointed a Knight of the Order of St John in 1982.

Even after retiring in 1988, Dr. Bradley remained a familiar face at the practice, often visiting and catching up with former patients. He passed away on 5 July 2005, but his commitment to integrity, community and exceptional patient care remains at the heart of Bradley's Practice today.
