The practice has a repeat prescription policy and there are a number of ways to order your repeat medication. We will not take medication requests over the phone. It is our Practice Policy NOT to accept requests from outside agencies e.g. Charter Health. Patients must deal with this direct. Please Note: repeat prescriptions require three working days for processing.
You can register with the the NHS App to request your medication by clicking on the registration button below.
You can request your repeat medication via this service, you can also review the order and the practice can also message you regarding your medication if there is a query on your order. You will need to check back onto your account to do this.
You can action your request through the Administration queries section on our eConsult service home page Admin Queries
If you are unable to either register online or visit the surgery you can post your request to Buckley Medical Centre or to Mold Surgery and this can be sent to your preferred pharmacy (as long as you have told us) or enclosing a stamped addressed envelope. Please allow one week for this. For address information please see our Contact Us page.
Bring your repeat prescription slip into the surgery with each item that is required clearly ticked.
If you lose your repeat prescription slip, please write your name and address and the name of your medication plus the dosage on a piece of paper and hand it into the reception desk.
Once the practice has received your order we will aim to have the prescription ready after 48 hours (two working days) – For example if you leave your request on a Friday afternoon it will be ready for collection on Tuesday afternoon. However 'add on' medications will prolong the time for processing as they require authorisation from a doctor.
If you are registered please use MHOL service and write your request into the Free Text box. If you are not registered with MHOL, then please complete your request via eConsult.
It may be more convenient for you to instruct your chemist to collect your prescription from us on your behalf – your medication will be ready to collect directly from them. Just let us know on NHS Wales App, or by email, which Pharmacy you prefer to use and this can be added to your records. Or you can arrange this directly with the pharmacy and they will even do the ordering for you.
Some patients living in areas around Buckley and Mold (See list below) can have their medications dispensed by the practice in a similar way to a chemist. Patients can order repeat prescriptions as described above, stating where they wish to collect their medication from. All patients should allow two working days (this does not include the weekend) for their medication.
Dispensary Opening Hours:

Opening Times
Bradley’s Practice is open from 8am – 6.30pm, Monday – Friday at both Buckley and Mold sites; however our phone lines between 6 - 6.30pm are for Emergency Calls only.
For your information all telephone calls to and from the practice will be recorded for monitoring and training purposes.
Routine GP Appointments have been temporarily suspended during the Covid pandemic, however you are still able to book certain specific appointments eg Cervical Screening, Child Immunisations, Vitamin B12 injections, Flu vaccinations and INR monitoring - please contact us to find out. Please see the alternative options available for a GP appointment.
The surgery runs a telephone assessment service between 8am – 11am Monday to Friday. Patients who feel they need urgent medical attention before a routine appointment is available can ask for an emergency appointment by using the telephone assessment service. A doctor will triage the call and offer you an emergency appointment if necessary.
Home visits should only be requested if you are housebound or genuinely too ill to get to the surgery. If you can get to the surgery, please do so as we can then spend our time seeing more patients rather than driving to visits. Home visits are planned before 11am – so please telephone early in the day. Be prepared to give staff some idea of the symptoms and the reason you cannot come into the surgery to enable us to judge the urgency of each call while planning the home visits.
If you have any prescription queries eg. if you want to know if your prescription has been sent to the pharmacy etc, please contact us via our email address:
